Today we went back to the Civil affairs office and Merrin is ours in the eyes of the Chinese Government. It did not take that long but it is very hot in that office. We did get to see the other babies that are from the same orphanage but a different agency and we were able to meet Merrin's friend Emma that will be living very close to us! They are all so very cute!
We love all the email's, I cannot get through reading one without crying. It takes so long to send an email so maybe at some point I will be able to respond but I wanted to let everyone know how much we appreciate them taking the time out to send us a wonderful message.
After the Civil affairs office we went to Super Walmart it was quite the experience, lots of stares and very strange food and smells. (see picture) We went out for dinner at a restaurant close to the hotel with our group and guides. They have been taken us to some great places to eat and it is so cheap, for the 3 of us it comes out to be about 15.00 US dollars. The food has been really good and we enjoy going out to the local places instead of always eating at the hotel. Enjoy the pics!!
