Brady & Reese

I watched Brady and Reese overnight while Gary & Jamie celebrated their 5th Anniversary, Happy Anniversary!! I had a great time and I think they did too, we were in our bathing suits 10 minutes after Gary and Jamie were out the door. They had fun playing in their pool but they mostly used it as a water slide and ran around the yard like crazy, it was very funny. Uncle Joey was very upset he missed all the fun unfortunately he had to work. I think I wore them both out Brady fell asleep on the floor at 7:00 and Reese fell asleep at 7:20!! They are so very good and very smart (and I am not just saying that because I am their Aunt!) but they are and I cannot wait until I see them and Merrin playing together!

Gallopalooza

We had an awesome time at Gallopalooza celebrating with everyone! Just wanted to post some pictures of the night, I have not been able to download my photos to the computer but finally had that fixed today.

Greek Fest

We had our annual Greek Fest run on Friday evening. The weather was just beautiful, perfect for running and some of our friends ran while the others including Joey stayed back to save our spot by the bayou and drank wine! It was a very fun night and I carried Merrin's picture around and showed everybody I ran into! We have a very busy weekend but it goes along perfect with all the celebration! This morning or rather this afternoon Joey, me and Meghan went out for a late breakfast and Gallopalooz tonight, can't wait!!

The FedEx Stork!!

After we received the pictures of Merrin on Thursday we went to Merrin's Granny and Papa's to show them the picture of their new granddaughter, then we went home to celebrate with Merrin's sister Meghan, Grandparents Mamere, Pops, and Big Joe and Colleen. We drank champagne, ate pizza and had a great time looking at our beautiful baby!

Our friends Dianne, Mike and their three kids Jack, Riley and Maggie were driving in from Atlanta to stay at our house for the night. We celebrated more when they arrived and needless to say it was a very late night but one to remember.

On Friday morning the FedEx stork arrived and I had Dianne take a picture of me and the "stork". It was hilarious the "stork" was upset because she had not fixed her hair that morning and if she only knew she would have made sure to do so. I told her she looked great and that you could not even see her hair with her baseball cap on!

Here is some info. we received on Merrin. She is a deep sleeper, holds her head up, sits alone quite steadily and can grasp a toy. She laughs aloud, knows her name, is active, fond of quietness and loves listening to music and has 4 teeth! We cannot wait to get her!

Merrin Francis

Chen Yun Yue Born August 2, 2008 Chenzhou City Hunan Province to be named Merrin Francis. We received the call on Thursday May 21st at about 3:10pm. We are so very happy and we cannot wait to travel to China and bring her home.

Thanks to all of our family and friends for being there for us during this very long wait. We love you all!
